Coker Campus Roommate Tips

For new students, it can be daunting to find the right person to live with. This is why Coker made the Please Don’t Snore tool, which allows new students to meet potential roommates, select a roommate, and submit housing preferences. Students should follow these steps to find a roommate and secure an on-campus dorm:

  1. Create a Please Don’t Snore profile. Fill in all your information and upload particulars like your personal information and your photo.
  2. If you already have a Please Don't Snore account, log in and update any necessary profile information. You may also confirm your roommate and housing preferences.
  3. If you don’t have a roommate, match your profile with a roommate. This feature is available between February 10 and July 3.
  4. Confirm your Housing Assignment & Roommate Information that will be sent to you in mid-July through your Coker University email. Then, you're all set for an exciting year!

Be sure to pick a dorm that will be near the amenities that you value the most, such as dining, the fitness center, and your core classes. If you have questions, contact the Coker University Office of Residence Life at 843-383-8360.
