Jersey Village is a small town in Harris County in the northwestern part of the Greater Houston Metropolitan Area.
It all started in the 1950s when some Houston real estate developers got together to build the community. They liked the green spaces in New Jersey and wanted to create a green oasis named Jersey Village on the outskirts of Houston at that time.
The city of Houston is surrounded seventy years or so later, and the area still retains its beauty and charm as a small village with a population of 35,372 (U.S. 2020 Census).

Parks: Bane Park is 18 acres with a lovely lake. Great for taking your dog for a walk or to go fishing. There is a splash pad for kids, a climbing wall, a pavilion, and sports fields. Another favorite is Jumping World, which is an indoor trampoline park.
Summer Outdoor Activities: Kids love the Water Wall at Gerald D. Hines Park, which has waterfalls both inside and outside. Come to see the waterfalls and then stay for a pleasant afternoon picnic.
Destinations: Nature lovers enjoy the Bear Creek Pioneers Park in the Addicks Reservoir. You can see many deer and ducks while hiking on the trails.
