Bronston is a rare gem of a place. You have to be really familiar with the area to know about Bronston. It is an unincorporated community in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
What makes it so special is its location, with outstanding properties and stunning views, right on the shoreline of Lake Cumberland as it passes along Kentucky Route 90, just over seven miles south of Somerset. There are about 400 people who live here.
This is a rural community with lots of charm. It has four seasons to enjoy, and the most comfortable months are May, June, and September. It gets hot and a bit humid in July (up to 86°F) and cold in January (around 25°F) with about 11 inches of annual snowfall. There is about 50 inches of rain annually. If you move here, be sure to bring a full wardrobe of clothes for all the changes in weather.

General Burnside Island State Park: There is an 18-hole golf course on General Burnside Island that is easy to play. The island will be to your right, and the speedway can be seen from the highway on your left. In the state park, there is a campground with over 100 camping sites and all the hookups you need.
Burnside Historic District: Burnside Historic District has four buildings to see, dating from before the Civil War. You will find a nice marina on the lake called Safe Harbor Burnside. Explore more than 100 peaceful coves by boat and visit the Cumberland Falls. There is a nice waterside cafe to get a sandwich, pizza, and have something to drink. Shopping, fine dining, and festivals bring tourists from all over.
Lake Cumberland: Many people who live here consider their boat like a second car. On the lake, you can find dozens of boat ramps to use to get your boat in the water. The fishing is spectacular.
