  • Bessie Benner Metzenbaum Park - One of several lovely parks in Geauga County, Chesterland's Bessie Benner Metzenbaum Park is a great place for a hike, a family picnic, or a bird watching outing. This 65-acre park is densely wooded, with several hiking trails, picnic pavilions, and a kids' playground.
  • Patterson Fruit Farm - Known for pick-your-own strawberries and apples, Patterson Fruit Farm is a staple of the Chesterland area. Seasonal produce and locally made goods are available at their farmstand year-round, and their annual Family Fun Fest is a fixture of the fall calendar.
  • Alpine Valley - A great ski experience is hard to come by in Ohio, but Alpine Valley offers one of the best opportunities to hit the slopes in the Buckeye State. A few miles outside Chesterland, Alpine Valley offers slopes for all skill levels, terrain parks for snowboarders, and a full resort with lodging and dining.
